Job Title: Finance Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of continuous improvement and is committed to enhancing and optimizing financial processes through innovative solutions and technology. This role requires someone who is not just focused on maintaining the status quo but is eager to challenge existing procedures and actively contribute to crafting a better business and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of Financial Activities:
  • Direct and manage the daily activities of the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams, currently comprising one person each. 
  • Oversee and manage the bookkeeping team, currently an external partner.
  • Build, maintain, and update annual budgets for various departments.
  • Enhance accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting processes.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with financial software providers and partners, be the primary stakeholder for support, bug reports, feature requests, etc. 
• Financial Reporting:
  • Create and manage monthly financial and key metrics reports for the overall business.
  • Update and communicate with key stakeholders, including the external bookkeeping team, and investment and banking partners, ensuring compliance with quarterly, annual, and monthly reporting requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to necessary tax and financial regulations.
  • Help maintain compliance with changing regulatory requirements as needed.
• Process Improvement: Demonstrate a track record of improving financial processes, not just by execution but through leveraging technology and innovation.
• Ownership & Initiative: Actively take ownership of tasks with a strong sense of pride. Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership finance role, demonstrating strategic and operational success.
• Proven experience in finance management with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen sense of ownership and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Familiarity with SaaS financials, metrics and reporting, both monthly recurring revenue and marketplace revenue.
• Ability to manage and direct team activities while performing individual responsibilities effectively.

Full-Time Salary: USD 36,000 - 54,000 depending on experience
